58 School Groups Advance to the Final Stage of the National Archives' Educational Project

58 school groups from both public and private schools have advanced to the final stage of the Ministry of Justice's National Archives' educational project - "The First Democratic Republic of Georgia".

The semifinal took place simultaneously in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, and Batumi, following the principles of the intellectual game "What? Where? When?". A total of 1,375 students from 275 general education schools, grades VIII-XII, participated.

According to the game’s rules, the top 40 groups with the highest scores advance to the final stage. Since groups ranked 36th to 58th all scored 12 points, all of them have made it to the final. As a result, the final will feature groups that scored 12 or more points out of a possible 20.

The final will take place in Tbilisi on May 30, 2025. Winners will be announced in several categories and will be awarded various prizes and certificates.

The educational project, which aims to engage students in the history of Georgia from 1918 to 1921, was initiated by the National Archives in 2015.

The project is supported by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth, and Akaki Tsereteli State University.
