Multimedia Exhibition Honoring Titsian Tabidze’s Anniversary Launched on the Website of the National Archives of Georgia

To mark the 130th anniversary of the birth of Titsian Tabidze — a renowned poet, publicist, and public figure — the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia has launched a multimedia online exhibition on its official website.

A leading figure of Georgian Symbolism and a founding member of the "Blue Horns" literary group, Tabidze was not only a prominent poet but also a theorist of Symbolist art. He played an active role in public life, contributing to various literary associations, publishing newspapers, and participating in the political life of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia. In October 1937, amid accusations of anti-Soviet activity, he was arrested and subsequently executed.

The multimedia exhibition features a wide array of materials preserved in the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, including rare film footage, photographs, personal letters, periodicals, audio recordings of his poetry, and recollections by his contemporaries and friends that illuminate his life and literary legacy.
